  • About Corey Dixon

    My name is Corey Dixon, and I am a dedicated and experienced leader running for Mayor of Elgin. I have lived in Elgin my entire life, and I have a deep understanding of the community and its needs. Along with a proven track record of bringing people together to achieve common goals and have been actively involved in local government, serving on various boards and committees.


    I have a strong background in government administration and am committed to promoting economic development, public safety, and eliminating homelessness. I also understand the importance of investing in public resources, environmental sustainability, and making Elgin the entertainment destination of the entire Fox Valley.


    As a mayoral candidate, I am committed to transparency and accountability by being accessible to the residents of Elgin with open and honest communication. 


    Being a married man with children, I understand the importance of a safe, healthy and prosperous community for families to thrive. I am passionate about this community and am eager to serve as its Mayor to work on the issues that matter most. I believe that by working together, the residents of Elgin can build a better future for our community.
